Caitlin Leline

        Caitlin Leline-Hatch grew up on a small farm in rural Wisconsin with a herd of horses just outside the door. The rural country side has been her source of inspiration and joy. After receiving a B.A. in Art from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Caitlin  now resides in Southwest Wisconsin with her husband Andy Hatch.  They live on a dairy farm where Leline’s husband makes artisan cheese, uplandscheese.com ,  while she spends her time capturing color, grace, and beauty from her surroundings in her watercolor paintings.

        Leline’s current direction in art directly correlates with the changes in the environment we see today.  She is focusing her work on a pictoral essay of returning to the land, re-establishing, and creating new and sustainable ways to cultivate the land.
